Interactive nutrition and food safety workshops available in English and Spanish for learners of all ages. Save time and money by learning how to plan healthy, tasty meals, shop smarter, feed picky eaters, and reduce food waste. Classes are free to those eligible for WIC or FoodShare.

Eating Smart, Being Active

The “Eating Smart Being Active” series is a free 9-week workshop for parents. Learn cooking and savvy shopping techniques, food safety, and get new recipes and incentive items that will help you and your family Eat Smart and Be Active!

16 FREE Continuing Education Hours can also be received by early child care workers. Inquire at the number below!

Cooking Matters At The Store

Cooking Matters at the Store is a guided grocery store tour that teaches adults with limited incomes how to get the most nutrition for their food dollars. Cooking Matters at the Store ends with the $10 Challenge, an activity where participants use the skills they’ve just learned to buy a healthy meal for a family of four, for under $10. Participants also take home a booklet with recipes and shopping tips.
