Consumer Horticulture

  1. Spring into Gardening –  a one-day event featuring presentations by area horticulture professionals. Second Saturday in March.  Location:  Westosha Central High School, Paddock Lake.  Melinda Myers will be the keynote speaker at the March 9, 2019 event!
  2. Lawn Chair Learning – A series of horticultural programs at various Master Gardener project sites.  Bring a lawn chair, sit back, and learn about an aspect of horticulture displayed at the project.  No cost.  No registration required.  May-June.

Commercial Horticulture

  1. 2019 Landscape Grounds Maintenance Short Course – designed for green industry professionals.  Meets on Wednesday mornings in February at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol.   Spanish interpretation available.

  2. Urban Forestry Workshop:  Tree Planting –  A one-day workshop that will show parks and tree professionals how to properly plant trees.  Classroom instruction and hands-on activities. 2019 schedule TBD.
