What is a Block Club?
A Block Club is a group of neighbors who have come together in order to make their neighborhood a better place to live.
How often do Block Clubs meet?
Block Clubs can be active without meeting very often. While some clubs meet monthly, others may only get together once a year. It all depends on what you and your neighbors want to do.
What can Block Clubs do?
- Allow neighbors to get to know each other
- Provide information about issues concerning the health and welfare of the residents of the neighborhood
- Address life and career issues
- Conduct workshops on many topics
- Provide activities for youth and adults
- Create a way to have fun with your neighbors
- Form Neighborhood Watch Groups (the crime prevention program that incorporates citizen involvement within the community)
