The annual Stateline Equine Education Program will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol.  Registration will begin at 9:30 and the program will end at 3:00.  Register online here.*

*If you choose to pay online, there will be a small convenience fee associated with the transaction.  

This year’s program will focus on the geriatric/older horse and their special care needs.  Program speakers include the following respected veterinarians:

  • Bob Stenbom, DVM, Associate Director, Equine Professional Services with Boehringer-Ingelheim Vetmedica in Minnesota
  • Ayla Guild, VMD, large animal veterinarian at Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic
  • Kevin Nelson, DVM, co-owner and large animal veterinarian at Bristol Veterinary Service

Program topics will include an overview on issues common to geriatric horses, making difficult end of life decisions for your horse, Cushing’s Disease, exercising older horses, lameness and foot care and teeth and feeding.  For more information, see the 2017 Stateline Equine Brochure and Registration.
